Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia

Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia
Hello people, my name is Blaze, also known by DLBlaze. Here’s a review of Pokémon ranger: Shadows of Almia. I hope you enjoy it!

Pokémon ranger: Shadows of Almia, is the second Pokémon ranger game in which made us, poké fans, experience Pokémon in a different, unusual way. In the Pokémon ranger games you don’t catch Pokémon with poke balls, you catch them with a tool called capture styler. This game takes place in a new region called Almia. This game also introduced us to something we never had experience before in a Pokémon game.. school! that’s right, you have to attend school for the first part of the game. The game keeps getting exciting as you play. Just the last Pokémon ranger game, you have to capture Pokémon with your stylus and touch screen. Sometimes have changed from the last game too. In this game, you can switch your partner Pokémon for different Pokémon including the Sinnoh starters.

This region features different kinds of climates such as deserts, snow valleys, and volcanic islands. And as any other kind of Pokémon game, it has its own bad guys, team Dimsun, which is trying to create the ultimate source of power by absorbing power of a dark crystal.

This game features 5 legendary Pokémon (7 if you downloaded the special missions via wi-fi connection) it features 270 different types of Pokémon and new mini missions called quests. It features Pokémon from all four regions : Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh

You will also see familiar characters from the last Pokémon ranger game, so it isn’t full of new stuff. You also get to go underwater, which is a great experience for nature-loving gamers.
In conclusion, this game is enjoyable if you’re ready to spent hours trying to understand the plot and the hints of future events in the game.
So this game gets.. ..

Presentation: 5.4
If you played the first Pokémon ranger game, I don’t think you need a long tutorial to cover what you already know.

Graphics: 6.5
The game features 2d graphics, but the Pokémon have great pallet colors and motion.

Story plot: 6.9
The story is great, but it takes so long to unfold.

Sound: 5.0
Sounds are traditional Pokémon sounds, which make them sound old and can be annoying.

Post-game: 6.4
You get to play quests, meet Celebi, Regigigas and complete the browser, but after that? Nothing!

Overall, this game gets a.. ..
6.4 out of 10

I hope you find this review interesting, informative and helpful. Thanks for reading! ^^
